BELL TYPE FURNACES

In these furnaces, cylindirical walls and ceiling of the furnace are built in one piece, and the bottom is built seperately. Upper body is shaped like a bell.

There are two construction types. On first type, bell-shaped upper body is constant. Before heating, the loaded bottom can be taken to the furnace by hydraulic system and elevated to the bell.

On other type, the bottom is constant. Bell-shaped upper body is put on the loaded bottom and close it like a hatch.

On both construction types, sealing provides leakproof between upper and lower body in order to stop gas leakage.
Also you can use the same upper body for diffrent bottoms and reduce heat loss.
